All-Clad Cookware Deals
All-Clad is famous for their fully-clad, bonded metal technology. There are layers of stainless steel wrapped around an aluminum core. They have four main cookware product lines. While they’re all well-made and popular amongst consumers, there are some important differences to talk about. The main differences between them are the materials and number of layers used to make them.
All-Clad is most known for their stainless steel cookware sets, but they do also have a lower-cost hard anodized, nonstick option to look at. We’ve listed this set and their stainless steel options below, along with some notes about the pros and cons of each product line. Note, they are also listed in order from most affordable to highest quality.
All-Clad Hard Anodized Nonstick Induction Cookware
All-Clad’s hard anodized nonstick induction cookware is their least expensive option. This is partially because it’s made in China rather than the USA like their other cookware sets.
It comes in 8pc, 10pc, and 13pc options. This nonstick cookware is made primarily of aluminum for even heat distribution, but there is a stainless steel bonded based to prevent warping. This set is dishwasher safe, but it is still recommended that you handwash to extend the life.
All-Clad D3 Stainless Steel Cookware
The D3 series of cookware is a stainless steel product with 3 layers. They include 2 outer layers of stainless, wrapping an aluminum core. The stainless steel is durable and distributes heat evenly while the aluminum increases the speed at which the piece heats up to save you time in the kitchen.
This is All-Clad’s base stainless steel cookware series, and it has the most affordable price of their stainless sets. The D3 comes in 5pc, 6pc, 10pc, and 14pc sets so you can get exactly the pieces you need for your kitchen without spending more than you need to.
All-Clad D5 Stainless Steel Cookware Sets
The All-Clad D5 series of stainless steel cookware might look similar to the D3, but it’s not the same. The D5 pots and pans are thicker, heavier, and contain 5 layers of metal versus the 3 layers D3 sets have. This means more even distribution of heat and more durability.
The D5 cookware from All-Clad is oven safe up to 600 degrees-F and is handcrafted in the USA!!! This is an amazing product with TONS of great feedback and customer ratings all over the web. It also carries All-Clad’s limited lifetime warranty.
All-Clad Copper Core Cookware
The top-of-the-line cookware by All-Clad is their Copper Core lineup. Like the D5 series, it contains a full 5 layers of metal to distribute heat for even cooking and increase strength and durability. However, as the name suggests, the core in this set is made of copper. The copper, combined with 2 layers of aluminum provide an ultra-fast heat up and responsiveness.
At the time of this writing, it doesn’t appear the All-Clad Copper Core cookware sets aren’t on sale, but the saute pans were. Check the current pricing with the link by the image.

Warranty & Washing
Two of the most common topics to consider when purchasing a nice new set of cookware is how to wash them and how good the warranty is. Any top cookware brand that stands behind their product should be offering some sort of a lifetime warranty. In addition, we always recommend handwashing high-end cookware. This will ensure the pieces last much longer, not constantly being subjected to the harsh chemicals and extended periods of time in dishwasher, however this is a common question by consumers, so it’s important to cover.
All-Clad Limited Lifetime Warranty
One thing that helps All-Clad stand out as a world-class cookware brand (besides the awesome products) is the warranty. They totally stand behind their products. We were able to find several examples on the web where customers received replacement pans after 15-20 years. That’s pretty cool!
All-Clad / Dishwasher Safe
In today’s go, go, go society, the most common question we hear about this brand… is All-Clad cookware dishwasher safe? The good news is that in most cases, yes, it is dishwasher safe. HOWEVER, as noted above, we recommend with any good set of pots and pans that you handwash whenver possible. This is the best way to extend their useful life.
